main goal of Athena Project is a development of a unique strategy that attempts to control human emotions. A human brain is still the most powerful computer in the world and this makes humans better traders than any computer. But there is one problem. Together with our supercomputer brain we also got emotions. Emotions are making us humans and fulfilling our life's, but when it comes to trading or making any other important decisions fast and under pressure, emotions are our enemy. They are the reason we make mistakes and when trading, these mistakes can be big, really big. In most cases, we don't even realize that we are making some decisions under influence of emotions, so we make even more mistakes this way. The Athena project aims to get your emotions under control in order to help you reduce the risks of bad decisions and become more efficient.

We keep track of human merchants with cameras, thermal cameras, pulse meters, and retina cameras as they work. Collected physiological data is comparable to their trading results. Once an adequate level of information about unique physical reactions of individuals and trade outcomes is consolidated and studied, we can effectively delay short-term future developments of their action.

Whole Athena idea has its roots in neural networks and deep learning processes. From the beginning of computer evolution, people are trying to find the way for the computer to learn from gathered data. Neural networks are maybe the most popular way of doing this. But just in last few years with a big expansion in computers power, we developed possibilities for machine learning to begin using neural networks. This new method in this is called Deep learning. Today deep learning is used for image recognition, voice analysis, text analysis, voice synthesis, and language translation and so on.

Athena team is looking in the future with an idea of machines guiding people in their decisions so people can make better ones and profit from them. All this can be achieved today with the use of knowledge of neural networks and behavioral economics.

The first task is to get data about the influence of emotions on the performance of a big number of people, but also personal data from every individual. To do this we need to use several devices: High-resolution camera, Thermal camera, heart rate bracelet, glasses micro camera and MEG, that will show us all physiological changes such as heartbeat, breathing and motor symptoms in the form of gestures and mimics. Al data collected through this devices then need to be linked with trade performance. At the end of the process, Athena will analyze historical stock exchange and calculate how good performance was in every specific trade and are there any mistakes that could be evaded in the future.

The main usage of Athena will be in the financial markets and trading but it can be also implemented in aviation, automotive, military and more other industries. All collected data needs to be stored and kept safe but also accessible when needed and the best option for doing this is blockchain technology because it gives all this private data safe place to be stored and privately used.

On Athena roadmap, you can see that this project will be developed through 2018. so Beta version will be released in July and final version of Athena should be ready by October 2018. Athena team already filled their patent named “Method of predicting a subject's failure, devices for performing this method and their use” in Czech Republic and are in process of filling this patent in the U.S. In the future there is a plan for two more patents that they are currently working on and collecting data for them.
